So who are these Millenials ? Simply put, the Millennials are the generation born between 1980 & 1994. The ones born between 1964 and 1979 were called the Gen X. The preceding generation, the Ones born between 1944 to 1964 are called the baby boomers and lastly the generation born post 1995 is called the Gen Z. So obviously the Millennials fall between the GenX and Gen Z and hence they are also referred to as Gen Y’s.

The Millenials, were born in the Internet Era. However they were thoroughly sandwiched between the business by relationships, ideology of the preceding GenX and the wave of AI that truly belongs to the succeeding GenZ’s.

Technology and the workplace have become completely inseparable over the last few decades. Computers, smartphones, emails, and online chats are the bedrock of business communication in the modern age – and along with rapid technological developments comes a completely new set of rules and etiquette.

What is digital etiquette why does it matter?

While the Gen Z will adapt quickly to the digitization wave, the challenge lies before the GenX and the Millennials as to how they would adapt from Relationship and face to face based business build ups to remote work from home based digital business operations.
